Daybook Suite

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

1. Summary

Daybook Suite is built so that we do not need your data. The Software runs entirely on your own machine, keeps your notes as plain text files you control, and contains no telemetry and no analytics.

2. Data the Software handles

All content you create with the Software is stored locally on your device, as plain text. We do not receive it, and we cannot access it. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no outbound reporting by the Software itself.

3. Data collected when you buy

When you purchase, our Merchant of Record, Paddle, collects the information needed to process your order — typically your name, email address, payment details, and billing country — for payment, invoicing, tax compliance, and fraud prevention. Paddle acts as an independent controller for this data; see Paddle’s Privacy Policy.

We receive only limited order information (such as your email address and the fact of a valid purchase) for delivering the Software and providing support. We do not receive your full payment card details.

4. This website

This website is a static site. It does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) may be kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and reliability purposes.

5. Email

If you contact us, or if you sign a Contributor License Agreement, we keep the correspondence so we can answer you and maintain our records. Email sent to our domain is forwarded to the Publisher’s mailbox for handling.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. For purchase data held by Paddle, please contact Paddle directly. For anything we hold, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
